(C’mon, you know this is right — Isaac wrote Lydia a poem to tell her how he felt [and failed, but that’s a minor detail] and he took some of the dog’s pain away and then c r i e d & s m i l e d in the most glorious way. And don’t get me started on his daddy issues.)
